KOCHI: GGSN (Gateway GPRS Serving Node), founded by BSNL has started functioning to get better Internet access to its customers in Kerala. BSNL Mobile Services ,Chief General Manager, Kerala,PT Mathews Inaugurated in the presence of Director R.K. Mittal. Getting the gateway to own internet traffic will benefit the users of Kerala.
Gateway was found in Panampilly Nagar, Kochi. Router Gateway has been in Chennai for all the users in South India. The gateway was founded in Kochi. It’s a gateway that can handle 2G, 3G and 4G networks.
Kerala is one of the states where BSNL is using the data. Over half of the data traffic in South India lies in this route. The new 4G facility is expected to hit double traffic numbers. Apart from Kerala, the network of Karnataka will be connected to Kochi.
Director BSNL has said that BSNL is deploying equipment worth Rs 250 crore including new 2600 mobile BTS machines in mobile network development in Kerala. Pt Mathew said. With the completion of this in two months, the mobile surveys and data rates will be improved in the state.
